When you’re talking about vintage style in a home, crown molding gets a lot of attention. An element that I’ve been noticing a lot lately are vintage-style ceiling medallions which have a similar ornamental effect as a beautiful molding but carry a little more weight and can add a lot of drama and elegance to a space. Especially in a room with very high ceilings, these pieces can add depth to a space and lend some extra impact to a great light fixture. I’ve collected some of my favorite examples below. Enjoy!
