Came across this pretty little garden, planted in honor of One Boston Day (April 15). Love observing these little reminders of the resilience of this beautiful city. – plus I can’t resist a hydrangea.

I think the American West really attracts me because it’s romantic. The desert, the empty space, the drama.

Last week I went on a mini-vacation to Utah and had the opportunity to visit Arches National Park in Moab. I’d never been to Arches or any of the other parks in Southern Utah and was really excited to spend a couple days hiking and taking in the incredible scenery. The pictures below really do not do justice to the beauty of this place so if you have the chance to visit I highly recommend it. Enjoy!

Best of luck to all you runners out there today!
This pitcher once belonged to my grandmother and had about 30 years worth of tarnish on it when it came to me. I recently got around to polishing it (no easy task) and I love seeing it come back to life!

Seen in Boston this morning.

On a related note, this trailer for the Boston Marathon documentary looks amazing.
Last day in Moab

Longer post to come later on this trip but for now…

Long car rides provide the perfect opportunity for trying out new camera apps. This one shot using Slow Shutter.
